After the museum, we came home and Ethan found a new toy! A mixing bowl! He was having fun walking around with it on his head....until he walked into the wall! As you can see, we have no furniture in our family room anymore, it will be in storage while we are in Italy!

Science Museum
Well, it was pretty hot and sunny this afternoon, so we decided to stay indoors and head to the Science Museum of Oklahoma. The kids had a blast playing in all the cool exhibits, and we didn't have to worry about sunblock!

All by the self!
Just a video from this morning....Ethan is learning how to use a spoon! As Allison says, he can do it "all by the self".

That's my Daddy!
Today was the big air show at the base Dan flies out of (Tinker AFB). It was a big air show, with tons of planes, aerial demonstrations, and the USAF Thunderbirds performed as well. Dan's plane did a demo and Dan was the pilot! Allison and I got to come see it (Ethan had a more pressing engagement.... a nap). It was really neat to see the plane up close! We are so proud of Daddy Dan!
if you listen really closely, you can hear them announce Dan's name as the pilot!

Go for the Gold!
Allison has been taking gymnastics for the past 6 months at a wonderful place called Oklahoma Gold Gymnastics . She has had a great time! Today they had their annual "M&M Olympics" which is a showcase for the families to see all they've been doing. Allison did a great job showing of her skills and Ethan had fun participating too! Allison got a trophy and some candy at the end of the showcase. We will really miss this place when we leave here!

Touch a Truck
The MOMS Club that I belong to held a wonderful event called Touch-a-Truck this weekend to benefit the Oklahoma Food Bank. It was wonderful! There were over 30 vehicles of all types- firetrucks, police vehicles, military vehicles, a garbage truck, tow truck, and many more. There was even a medi-flight helicopter! Allison had a lot of fun sitting in all the trucks, even though it was almost 90 degrees! Ethan had fun eating pretzels in the stroller :) .

It's showtime!
This week Allison was in her first-ever show! Her class participated in the end of the year show at her preschool. We got a sitter for Ethan (the show started at 7, way to late for our early bedtime boy) and Allison did great. No tears! But also, no singing. She did stand up there on her own though, and do some of the hand motions. Clearly she has a future on broadway!

Fun Times with Gega...
Grandma (aka Gega) visited this past weekend for Allison's party on her way to a convention in Atlanta. We had a great time! Besides the party, we went to the zoo and the Downtown Edmond Arts Festival. Allison loved the pony ride! The weather has been so nice, the kids got to play outside for a while too!

Happy Birthday Allison!
Allison turned 3 on April 25! We celebrated with a party on May 3. As some of you know, Allison has a love of school buses and gymnastics. Luckily we were able to find a way to combine her two loves into one fabulous party! The Oklahoma Tumblebus is a really neat gymnastics studio on wheels- it's inside a school bus! A good time was had by all and Allison had so much fun! And her Gega was able to be here to celebrate with us!
